This was our second visit, the first over 3 years ago. This time we brought our 3 children, 8-12yo, and we all had a great time. Good price & quick service getting us back to our cars after the trip.

Fantastic small business with super friendly staff and variety of equipment. They have tandem kayaks and regular ones. Also have cooler carriers to strap to kayak for easy convenience. Highly recommend them.

Don’t bother with the Tavern. Went and ordered some beer and food while floating down the river. Ordered a simple six canned beers and the bartender took payment then never got the beers and proceeded to get other people’s orders that were placed after ours. Then the food after waiting fifteen minutes and having it payed for and seeing people ordering the same nachos (just chips and cheese) after us and getting them before we did, another cook/bartender tells us that they’re completely out of food. There was only about eight or ten people in the bar. Then the cook/bartender complained about having to put the refund back on my card. Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had out of all the places I’ve ever been.

The staff here were super friendly and helpful and offered up some good advice on special things to keep an eye out for like the eagle aerie as well as landmarks for arriving back at the livery. I also like that they take you upstream and you canoe back rather than the opposite! Would definitely go back! Very family friendly!

Started off excellent however a few hours in our raft started deflating. In a panic we broke our backs trying to find the landing spot which is comically difficult to locate. Eventually we ended up at the “Mohican Adventures” “Fryes Landing” and was rescued by the staff. After we were able to get in touch with them at the Shipleys Bar. The two boys who picked us up were very nice and apologetic. However the owner is refusing a reimbursement even though we didn’t get what we paid for. The staff seems very professional and hospitable but I guess the owner is less than affable. Anyways we will stick to Mohican Adventures from now on they are a little more expensive but at least you get what you paid for! The two stars are for the staffs satisfactory customer service.

Prices are decent and the staff get you off for your adventure quickly. The added showers are a nice touch to freshen up after a trip down the river. My only suggestion is closing up the gaps in the restroom stalls for ensured privacy.

Skylar was Amazingly helpful to us when we brought our own kayaks and had a Billion questions for him! We got very confused and he showed us where to launch and gave us great advice.
